When you first enter the instance, enter through the right door (not the left). This throws you in the center ofthe courtyard clear of most mobs. (...)

When you first enter the instance, enter through the right door (not the left). This throws you in the center of
the courtyard clear of most mobs. This first spot where you enter is where you are going to pull to.

Big tree mobs will be patrolling by. They hit very very hard. You want to pull them to the corner as they
knock you back — better to hit the wall than pull another big guy. You need to take out 2-3 big guys. Don't
bother trying to clear them all.. the repop pretty regular

After clearing a hole to run across, run to the center of the courtyard, being careful to not pull any of the
mobs there or be close enough to pool the big tree patrols. If you are brave, you can clear none of the pats
and just run straight to the center.

Now you are in the middle of the courtyard, near the pylon with the elementals. These pylons are the
objective of the instance… clear the elementals and the 5 pylons power down, releasing the forcefield
around Immol'thar.

The elementals can be pulled 2-3 at a time to clear all around the pylon. Warlock can banish one as
necessary. As these guys die, they steal whatever mana you have and inflict damage… be careful! They
also get very cast happy the more health they lose. They must be killed as quickly as possible.

Now continue running across the courtyard to far right. This will lead you down a narrow walkway and open
to a room of undead on your right. Your goal is to get up the stairs. Kill the farthest right ghost mob, hitting
the female ghost first. She inflicts the most dmg via a 'bone' something or other aura… it is a melee hardhitting aura. Cloth/Leather wearers should try to stay back from these ghosts as they inflict crazy dmg.

This next part is up to you. You can keep clearing the first floor and clear the caster bosses (Magister
Kalendris and Tsu'zee) for drops. I don't have much experience with these two, so I won't offer up any
advice. I recall them hitting casters pretty hard for 900hp or so.

If you don't clear the bottom floor, clear the right-most mob of 3 and sneak past the one ghost by the stairs.
Proceed upstairs and you want to head left. You will find a couple casters standing there… nothing special
and pretty easy to clear. Continue clearing/running along the left wall towards the pylon (2nd one). Clear the
elementals as before, deactivating the pylon. Now you see a bunch of skeletons. Have the tank aggro and
AoE away.

Now go right down the bridge/walkway to the quest giver, Shen'dralar Ancient. He gives you 'Madness
Within', the quest for killing Immol, the Prince and the deactivating pylons. Continue past him to the next
pylon (#3), clear as necessary until it deactivates.

You should now see the next boss, Illyanna Ravenoak just past the pylon, patrolling. She hits very hard via
ranged hunter attacks. The bear swipes for 500-800dmg per swing. Sleep/Polymorph/(??Fear??) the bear
as necessary while you take her out. She has far range and hits hard… casters be careful of aggro or you
will die.

Now run back the way you came to downstairs out by the first courtyard. In the middle (same side as the
ghosts) is a downward slope to Tendris Warpwood. He is fairly easy… just slightly harder than the big trees
in the beginning.

Go past him and enter the door just to your right using your Crescent Key. Watch for invis ghost mobs down
this hall. Proceed until you see the arcane/storm elementals. I recommend clearing one mob but it is up to
you. They hit very very hard. Warlock should curse of doom/banish the big guy… his arcane storm cast will
wipe your group in just a few seconds. Kill the little guys first (9K hp or so). Then solo big guy.

If you decide to not clear one group, have hunter give you aspect of pack. Run left along the wall until you
come to the 4th pylon. Just before the pylon is a stone pillar by the wall… anywhere between this pillar and
the pylon/elementals is your safe zone. You are now clear of all storm elementals. Clear the pylon as before.

Now run back the way you came to the hallway. When it is clear, continue running right to the second
hallway. You are safe for a while. Proceed along through the library. Talk to whoever you like. Quest
endings for the Warlock/Druid/etc books are here… all the quests say 'Return to the rightful owner' and give
you a nice trinket. They are random DM drop quests. You will also find a NPC to repair/sell items. The prince
is in here, but currently neutral. He turns nasty after you clear the last pylon and kill Immol'thar.

Run back to where the arcane/storm elementals are. Now you want to keep running right along the wall to
the next pylon. Stay between the pillar and pylon, pulling the elementals til you clear the last and 5th pylon.
Now the shield around Immol'thar drops. Run through the pylon to the center of the area, watching for the
pasing patrols running from your right to left. Don't worry about aggroing Immol as you have plenty of room in the arena.

Immol is very very tough. He has approx 35K hp or so and hits very very hard for 500-800hp. Casters be
very wary of aggro, cause you don't want him hitting you. Every few seconds a eyeball will drop. These
eyeballs focus on you and throw you up in the air, taking damage when you smack the ground hard. One
person in group should be dedicated to killing these eyeballs (900hp or so). As you are fighting him and
people in your group die, it is imperative to keep moving around. The eyes are less likely to focus on you. A
few times I have been the last one standing… Immol had 10K of hp and about 5 eyeballs chasing me. I just
kept running in a big circle and casting away at him til he dropped… this strategy will by you an extra 20-30
secs before you die. He will hit you but you can use potions, to keep blasting him

Now run back to the Prince in the library, clearing as necessary. Main tank should stand in the corner with
the other players grouped close by. The tank gets knocked back into the wall, and with the other players
closeby he should be able to regain aggro fairly easily.

NOTE: If you are a warlock getting your epic mount, do the following after killing Immol'thar. Read all of this
information before starting…

You need approx 14-16 soul shards. The 3 floating items that are part of the ceremony offer up different
buffs. You must use your Lodestone to reactivate them when they are clickable (right click when you see the
widget/gear). Have other party members help you keep an eye out saying 'candle', 'bell', 'clock' to let you
know when they go out.

During the ceremony, all party members must stay within the circle to be benefited by the circle buffs.

J'eevee's Jar starts the ceremony. You should have a imp demon out at this point. This lets everyone in your
group start out with extra stamina. You will start seeing a bunch of demon imps running to the center. They
hit you for 1hp or so… not a big deal. This keeps happening with the occasional doomguard entering. At
some point you want to ditch the imp and enslave one of the doomguards. Always kill doomguards first as
the imps hit for little to no damage. The ceremony continues for 5 mins or so (seems like forever) and
climaxes with about 4 doomguards at once. If you have a doomguard enslaved, release him and he will
disappear (no need to kill).

Everyone in the group should enjoy the trippy blue colors whirling around you AND rest up. No need to
hurry… rest completely and take your time. Now you want to summon the Lord and the dreadsteed using
your Xorothian Glyphs. After some time of fighting the DreadSteed, a Dreadlord spawns. Continue killing the
Steed and then finish the Dreadlord. You only need to kill the steed to complete your quest. If you think you
might die, run over and talk to the steed's spirit to get your new horsey. If you wipe before doing so, ghost
run it back and talk to the horse spirit for quest completion

After spending hours of harvesting reputation to get to Exalted I thought I would share my experiences and what I consider the best way to get to exalted. (...)

After spending hours of harvesting reputation to get to Exalted I thought I would share my experiences and what I consider the best way to get to exalted. The first thing I will recommend is never turning in Scourgestones or use Argent Dawn Valor Tokens until you are more than 50% through Revered. The best way to get reputation is at follows:

Neutral through to Friendly (50%)
Kill any undead mob within the WPL and EPL area.

Friendly (50%) through to Honoured (50%)
Kill any elite undead mob in WPL, EPL or in the instances.

Honoured (50%) through to Revered (50%)
Kill undead bosses.

Revered (50%) to Exalted
Turn in Sourgestones, cleanse the cauldron and Healthy Scales.

EXPLANATION OF HOW

Cleansing the Cauldron
To cleanse the cauldron you have to have completed all parts of the 'Target:' quests given out by High Priestess MacDonnell in Chillwind Camp.
Using your Vitreous Focuser collect Ectoplasmic Resonators off the corpses of the undead around 'Gahrron's Withering Cauldron'. The reason why you cleanse 'Gahrron's Cauldron' over and over again is because it has a higher reputation reward. You will also be collecting scourgestones but please keep these till you are pasted 1/2 through Revered with the Dawn. Once you collect 4x Ectoplasmic Resonators, 4x Runecloth go to Alchemist Arbingto in Chillwind Camp and buy 1x Arcane Quickener. Then go back to the cauldron and use it. Doing this will give the player 25 (27-28 if Human) reputation points with the Argent Dawn. I would collect around 80x Ectoplasmic Resonators at a time and cleanse the cauldron twenty times. This quest can be done over and over again. However the 'Arcane Quickeners' cost money, 45 silver. The runecloth is picked up off the corpses of the undead mobs, and you usually have more than you need.

Using only the Cauldron quest to gain reputation from Revered (50%) to Exalted you will need all of the following:

1680x Ectoplasmic Resonators
1680x Runecloth
420x Arcane Quickener (Total cost: 189 gold (PvP Rank 3: 168 gold))

Scourgestones
Most undead mobs in WPL, EPL and the instances drop Scourge Stones of some kind. Collect these stones and put them in your bank. They will stack to 250 so you shouldn't run out of space. As the reputation gains become harder after you get passed 50% in Revered I would keep them to use then. You will get 25 (27-28 if Human) points of reputation for each turn in of 20x Minion's Scourgestones, 10x Invader's Scourgestones, and 1x Corruptor's Scourgestones. However, the Argent Dawn quests at Revered and Exalted require some tokens (Revered: 10, Exalted: 25) so you will have to spend some for those quests. Once you turn in the stones you might as well use the tokens to gain addition reputation.

Amounts of ScourgeStones needed to get to Exalted from Revered (50%):

Minion's Scourgestones: 4200*
Invader's Scourgestones: 2100*
Corruptor's Scourgestones: 210*

*These figures include spending the Valour Token reward from turning in the stones.

Healthy Dragon Scales
This quest is from picking up Healthy Dragon Scales from within Scholomance off of Plagued Hatchlings and returning them to Betina Bigglezink at Lighthopes Chappel in EPL. Each scale is a quest itself, start the quest and then talk to Betina Bigglezink. You can carry as many of these scales as you can. The drop rate of these scales is low as the prereg quest is Plagued Hatchlings and that isn't done by many people. Each scale gives the player 50 (55 for Humans) reputation points with the Argent Dawn.

Total number of scales needed from Revered (50%) to Exalted: 210

Since the 1.11 patch there are more options for getting to exalted.

Turning in the repeatable quests for the different collectiable items:

For insignia of the crusade turn-ins:
crypt fiend parts
bone fragments

For insignia of the dawn turn-ins:
savage frond
cores of elements
dark iron scraps

gets you 10 rep with AD each turn-in of 30.

At Revered, turning in 7 each of the insignias of the dawn and crusade
will get you one of the superior armaments of the dawn (I would take the 18 slot bag) You also get 100 ad rep. for first turn in.
So, not only do you get an 18 slot bag, but you get 380 ad rep total with it.

You can repeat this 6 times for each of the unique items, for a total AD rep
of 2280

The epic line takes 45 insignias of each to turn in for an item. If you turn in all 6 of those, you get 5400 AD rep.

So, for 9360 bone/crypt items (and 9360 of the others), you can get 7680 AD rep, a nice bag, and some shardable stuff.

Completing A Dead Man's Plea (aka Baron 45 Minute Run)
We've managed this run several times, each time with a different group setup, and we've put together the following tips to help you trek through it.

Guidelines
Have a well-balanced group with people you know. Sometimes this isn't possible, so at least make sure you are with people who listen and react. Communication is extremely important and if people look as if they go afk or can't keep from chatting around instead of hitting mobs, don't make an attempt with them. This sounds harsh, but many people we grouped with didn't realize this run was different from a normal Baron run. They were going at normal pace and looking around instead of pulling, being stuck in combat mode and asking the group 'ready???' before every pull, to then finish a chat sentence they were sending to a buddy in guild chat before actually pulling. Then at the end they wondered why the run failed.
Try to stick to people that you consider skilled. Skilled people is a vague term, but with skilled we mean the following things:
1.Being always present at any moment of the run, immediately ready to react
2.Being able to LISTEN
3.Being conscious of their environment
It is hard sometimes to get hold of such people, but it is worth the effort, the more your party members correspond to the above mentioned features, the less tries it will take you. Just a briefing before going into the dungeon can already awaken these abilities in a lot of players, so it's always worth a try. If you find a good player, put him on your friends list and so on… you will finally end up with a group able to do this.

Group Makeup
Despite what a lot of people think you don't need a cookie cutter group to manage this, but of course the less skilled your group is, the more you depend on the perfect class combination. What you should have in any case however is this
1.Warrior (Can be Offensive or Defensive specced, doesn't matter, make sure offensive Warriors have a shield and a one hand weapon on them for tanking the Baron at the end)
2.Priest (Ideally have a priest to heal the group, priests can shackle undead on top, simply very useful)
3.A good AoE class (ideally take a Mage with you, you can AoE a ton of things in this side of the dungeon, much more than many people assume… just need a good healer. This is also important for skellys at Baron later)
4.DPS.
5.DPS (can be substituted with a support class like pally if need be, paladins are actually not bad at all for Stratholme if they are smart and use their AoEs against undead on AoE pulls)
Keep in mind that you can take two AoE classes for example, like Warlock and Mage and you can pretty much AoE 40% of Stratholme Undead Side, you just need a good healer who CHAIN heals the ONE person who gets aggro from AoEing.
Brief people exactly before the run and make sure that everyone must makes an effort. Just tell them to NOT chat around, NOT go afk, ALWAYS pay attention, concentrate, etc
If you want, tell everyone to get potions, at least mana and health ones. The more the better of course, especially if your priest tends to get low mana fast, so having support from potions is always good. Stuff like Mongoose Elixir or Flask of Supreme Power etc… are really optional, despite what many people think this is not vital.
Have the Mage summon enough drink and water BEFORE entering, since asking for stuff inside the dungeon doesn't usually work.
Once you zone into Stratholme Undead by the Service Gate make sure everyone is present and ready to follow. If someone wants to do the Medallion of Faith quest tell them to not do it, as this quest seems to make it impossible to do the 45 minute run thing, it just bugs out the quest at the end, we don't know if this got fixed yet.
Clear past the three groups of undead and zombies that block the way to the first gate, you CAN AoE these and you should, just have your Mage go inside with a Power Word Shield, spam Arcane Explosion and have the priest chain heal the Mage with spam flash heals (and only the Mage btw). If there is other AoE classes they should use AoE too of course.
Don't open the gate yet, opening and going through it will give you the Baron 'Ultimatum' buff. If you didn't do this already tell your group to strictly keep to the following rules:

General Guide
1.No afk.
2.No unnecessary chat or chat with friends outside group, FULL FOCUS.
3.They must be prepared for CONSTANT PULLING, even while casters sometimes drink to regain mana, melee classes should continue pulling. The whole 45 minute thing really only becomes possible if you constantly pull, long mana breaks are really a big no-no.
4.You'll skip a lot of mobs. In fact, a LOT of stuff can be skipped to speed things up, and get to the Baron. Take a look at the map for an idea. Make sure everyone pays attention and that your puller knows the optimal pulling path. Seriously, it's frustrating to do your best to skip a group and one person runs straight into it because he didn't pay attention…make sure this doesn't happen, we can't stress this enough.
5.If things go crazy (multiple mobs), consider AoE with constant healing on the Mage (or the one AoE class that has aggro). If you have several AoE classes, make sure to heal properly.
6.Max DPS. Every dps helps, even the Priest wanding or dotting when he has nothing to do, using dmg shields and trinkets… Play every trumph card you have.
7.Have people always ready to sheep or shackle or better even pull with these spells, less damage saves mana. Counterspell casters that don't want to come, make sure your Priest is at a GOOD distance when you fight the banshee type of mobs as these silence. Also don't and really don't fight bats close to other mobs, pull them back a LARGE chunk, getting feared into adds is like the death cause of 60% of the groups in this dungeon.
8.If it's possible, don't loot. You can loot boss mobs if you want but just skip loot on trash, it will make you go much faster, even though it is painful, we know… but this run requires some sacrifice. Decide BEFORE you enter who is the Disenchanter and who hence will take blue loot from bosses that noone wants to then ROLL FOR IT AFTER THE RUN. We saw many groups discussing about loot and rolling around for DEs after each boss mob on Baron Runs… - we know loot is often the subject where people get touchy but it can't be helped, it's pretty clear why time wasting on loot is not an option for the 45 minute run on Baron.
9.Be fast, constantly pull, skip what you can, max out your DPS, don't waste any time in any form… These are the most important points.
10.When you enter with your group and once you get the ultimatum buff from Baron, go as fast as possible and follow the map… you only have to get to Baron and engage him within these 45 minutes. If you need help on how to kill Baron refer to our Stratholme Guide, which we'll be posting in the next week or so.

This bug is located at the Alter of Storms (and possibly other places) in the Blasted Lands. The mobs walking around there tend to have a bug with weapon drops. If the mob is going to drop a weapon or offhand, you will see them carrying it around instead of their normal default staff, sword, etc. This is very useful to scan around for epic drops, seeing as the Krol Blade and Glowing Brightwood Staff have the potential of dropping here! Thus, you can run around scanning the mobs, and if one is holding a Glowing Brightwood instead of their boring staff or sword, you are guaranteed the staff when you kill it!
This also proves that loot is pre-determined when the mob is spawned, instead of allocated once there is a corpse.

~Priest's Outland Horde Guide~ Introduction: Welcome to part two of the guide! The game has changed quite a bit since BC, so hopefully this will help you understand the fastest way to level. (...)

~Priest's Outland Horde Guide~

Introduction:
Welcome to part two of the guide! The game has changed quite a bit since BC, so hopefully this will help you understand the fastest way to level. There are hundreds of quests in the Outland, but only 10 levels of clvl advancement. There isn't one perfect path to take due to the fact that you'll be the same level for long chunks of time. Considering that, this guide will be a little different than the 1-60 guide that preceded it. I won't list the perfect exact path, but instead a general path that will help you immensly (or it did me anyway).

Quest hub paths to take will be listed, along with any information necessary pertaining to that particular quest, and the order in which to do it/them. There won't be tons of really obvious information or force you to take a single path the whole time. Read all the descriptions carefully, because you'll be able to figure out where and how the quest is finished. I'll list some extra info if I feel it's necessary, since I write this guide the first time I played through the Outland. The guide is tweaked for fast leveling since that's why I enjoy most with this game. If you're looking for a rich, rewarding experience, this probably isn't the guide for you. I've leveled three chars up to level 70 in beta alone, and usually you're looking at the same amount of time for 60-70 that you spent on 1-50. So…get some coffee. I haven't come up with a set-in-stone speed run yet, as it takes months and months of playing, but this should help you out immensly.
The reason for no step-by-step is that TBC will mature over time, but until it has, and I've done several speed runs through it and feel comfortable with a set-in-stone pattern I can then make a step-by-step guide, you are just going to have to settle with this 'reference' guide for now, which should still be VERY helpful.

Quest patterns are pretty much the same no matter what class you are.

If you come across any quest that you don't know where or how to do it, simply look it up at either wow.allakhazam.com or
Thottbot.com, they will tell you everything about the quest.

World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in the U.S. and/or
other countries.

Copyright 2007 MMOEdge.com pg1

Outland 60-70
01) To enter the Outland, you must have the Burning Crusade Expansion pack, otherwise you are not allowed to enter it. To enter it, you have to go through Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands, from there you can enter the Outland.
02) There is a quest giver (Warlord Dar'toon) right before you enter the dark portal that gives 'Through the Dark Portal' … accept it.
03) Then enter the Dark Portal.
04) Before I get started, I want you to get a bit familiar of what is in store for you, as far as the paths you are going to take. Check the map out to the right for a basic guideline on the leveling paths you are going to take. Here is a quick and basic rundown of zones/levels:
05) 60-61 Hellfire Peninsula
06) 61-63 Zangarmarsh
07) 63-65 Terokkar Forest
08) 65-67 Nagrand
09) 67-68 Blade's Edge Mountains
10) 68-69 Netherstorm
11) 69-70 Shadowmoon Valley
12) For reference, you can check out Blizzard's overview of Outland right here, you can get a good idea of where all the cities and dungeons are with this map. Dark Portal
01) First thing you'll notice in front of you is a bunch of HUGE demons killing a bunch of NPCs, no need to worry about it now.
02) Go down the steps and turn in 'Through the Dark Portal' … accept 'Arrival in Outland'
03) Go turn in 'Arrival in Outland' … accept 'Journey to Thrallmar'
04) Then Fly to Thrallmar…
05) Make Thrallmar your home.
06) Turn in 'Journey to Thrallmar' … accept 'Report to Nazgrel'
07) Go turn in 'Report to Nazgrel' … accept 'Eradicate the Burning Legion'

60-61 Hellfire Peninsula
Thrallmar
(QUEST CHAINS that start in Thrallmar)
________________________
01) 'Eradicate the Burning Legion' (this is the first quest chain I start doing in Hellfire Peninsula) (Turn this in at 58.41)
02) 'Felspark Ravine' (just keep walking east a few steps and you will see the mobs)
03) 'Forward Base: Reaver's Fall' (turn this in at 65.43)
04) 'Disrupt Their Reinforcements' (the portals & mobs are directly east of this quest giver, Portal Xilus=70.45, Portal Kruul=74.38)
05) 'Mission: Gateways Murketh and Shaadraz' (talk to the NPC right next to you to get a wyvern to fly and bomb 2 portals, if you don't do it the first time, you can go and do it again.)
06) 'Mission: The Abyssal Shelf' (very similar to the previous quest, except you have to bomb a bunch of mobs, see if you can do this all in one go!)

Features
- Bobber scanning has test results of 95%+ accuracy with great speed
- Fish scanning has test results of 70%+ accuracy
- Easy-to-change constants for tweaking
- Supports any resolution (yes, even non-standard ones like really stretched out)
- Supports CosmosUI
- Dynamic RGB color finding (works in practically any light)
- AFK-Away

Use
1. Copy/Paste the code below into AC Tool (found at http://www.actool.net
2. Run WoW in Windowed Mode
3. Put fishing skill in slot '0'
5. Under Video Options (press Escape to bring up main menu), UNCHECK 'Hardware Cursor'
6. Zoom into 1st person mode
7. Review constants in script, particularly 'runCount' to set how many times the script should run
8. Run the macro

Notes
- For best results, try turning all fancy graphics options off (especially 'Terrain Highlights' under Shaders.. takes all the brightness out of the water) and use a low resolution (perhaps under 800×600, the smaller the faster)
- If you are having problems finding the bobber, where the mouse simply goes over the bobber and never stops, or goes a little bit past the bobber before stopping, try increasing the 'scanSpeed' constant. Do this only after turning off all fancy graphics and decreasing resolution
- Please please please fish AWAY FROM CIVILIZATION. We need as little publicity as possible, thankyouverymuch.
- Try to find a spot where you are level with the water. Run the script once or twice and note the highest line where the script scans for the bobber. Then throw 15 or so casts manually and note where the highest cast goes. Try to match those two lines up, you will get much faster results.
- If the bobber is landing outside of the scan area, adject the scan area percentage constants in the macro to include the areas where the bobber lands.
- You can turn off AFK Away if you want to chat while fishing

Future
- The fish scanner isnt the best right now, will definitely need tweaking. I'll try to get that working better in a future update.
- An inventory management system to automatically open up containers such as clams, bottles, chests, etc.
- An option to quit fishing after a set amount of time
- An option to turn on random timings between casts/clicking of the fish/etc

The Bot

CODE

// WoW Fishing Bot v1.1
// Made by QuietKnight

// Changes
// v1.1
// + Added in the option to turn off AFK Killer
// + Added in changes log
//
// v1.0
// + Initial version

// Special instructions:
// - Put your fishing skill in slot '0'
// - Zoom into 1st person mode
// - Under Video Options, uncheck 'Hardware Cursor'

SetActiveWindow World of Warcraft

Constants

/////////////////////////
// CHANGABLE CONSTANTS //
/////////////////////////

// Run count
// How many times the script should try to fish
runCount = 10

// Speed
// This is the initial scan speed. The most important reason is crowd control, and of course, DPS. Rogues can dole out some massive DPS, especially with new rogue talents brought about by the expansion such as Mutilate. At MMOEdge, we will be speccing Mutilate (currently 41/0/10) when we reach 60 because of its grinding/PvE utility and potential for damage, and its more recently discovered ability to dominate in PvP. We can't tell you exactly what or how to build your rogue, but we can inform you of certain builds and their proficiencies, as well as how to play a rogue.

Basics
First, we'll cover the basics of being a rogue even before even discussing race choices so you will know whether you truly want to be a rogue or not. Being a rogue, your most valuable tool is and always will be stealth. Not Sinister Strike, not Backstab, and certainly not Expose Armor (expose armor is not actually a candidate for most valuable, it is an example of the worst of a rogue's skills). The simple
