Sneak Peak At Jewelcrafting

February 27, 2007

Based on what's here, alot of the speculations we wouldbe jewelcrafters made appears to be correct. I can almost TASTE the gold.

Making some educated assumptions about jewelcrafting, we come to the conclusion that "prospecting" will be a passive function of jewelcrafting along the lines of smelting, find ore or find herbs.

Combine prospecting with all the aparently new types of gems and ore added (garnet, peridot, spesserite, dreanite, adamantite and eternium) and raw ore will be in CRAZY high demand.

Now, take a leap of faith with me on this one because we are applying real world facts to WoW….

Gems like peridot and garnet are semi-precious stones. That would leave one to conclude that they will be obtained from ore that would fall in the same category ala iron, mithril and thorium. Possibly rares like gold, silver and true silver as well. Since there will be exactly ZERO garnet, peridot and the other gems in the market when TBC is launched, these gems will be very valuable.

All this means that raw ore will be expensive. Even if you have no desire to be a jewelcrafter, if you have a miner, I would start (if you havent since the last time I told you it was a good idea) stocking away all manner of ore for the expansion.

If that doesn't work and you need gold quick, I recommend The MMORPG Exchange WoW Gold. They deliver quickly and are cheap! I usually receive my gold within 20 minutes. They're my secret weapon, I highly recommend them!
